GOOD ON OUR OWN, EVEN BETTER TOGETHER![]()
Do you like fish or chips?
Gin or tonic?
While they are good on their own, they are even better together. ![]()
So too with HADCA and PADCA. They each bring strong individual qualities to the merger. We have a long-standing relationship that benefits both. As we look to our sustainability for the long term, we are confident that this combination will sustain us. We will be better together.![]()

As clearly indicated in the petition, PADCA, like all other NPOs is reliant on the Department of Social Development (DSD) fulfilling their legal and moral obligation to the organisations who work at the coal face to provide essential services to the most vulnerable in our society. ![]()
Every month PADCA expects roughly R 283 000 from DSD which is used to cover the work of our social work department and to cover a small percent of the cost PADCA incurs in offering accommodation to financially vulnerable older persons. Non-payment of this income requires PADCA to dip into cash reserves. While this does not have the same devastating effect on PADCA as other less resourced NPOs, it does restrict the number and level of care we can offer to the community. It is the vulnerable, frail older person that suffers when DSD renegades on their obligations.![]()
Please add your voice to this petition and share it widely.![]()
