PADCA, a registered non profit organisation, has been in service to the community since 1948. Today PADCA serves approximately 3240 older people – 640 “under roof” in one or more of our accommodation facilities, and 2600 older people who live out in the community. Accepting that ageing is part of living, we also reach out to the youth in some of our programmes. The latter are serviced by our social work team. PADCA employs directly a core staff of 115, with several of our staffing groups and functions, outsourced to partners who share our vision.

PADCA is administered by a non executive General Committee, elected in terms of the constitution, with the day to day operational control of the organisation resting in the hands of the Executive Director, who in turns reports to the General Committee and its Executive Committee.
