On 2nd August 2008 PADCA celebrated its Diamond Jubilee with a dinner and a show "Rhapsody in Pink" at Woodgrove Retirement Village. R65 000 was raised for Sunnyside Park Home.

7th IHASA in Malta
PADCA CEO Margie van Zyl has just returned from attending the 7th IAHSA (Intl Assoc of Homes & Servcies for Ageing) in Malta, where she participated in a joint presentation on 20 June together with Rebecca Neth-Townsend from the US, andHelen Guthrie from Australia, on "Change: not our dividing line but our common ground". Margie shared some of the story of PADCA which is a story of change.
